Position Summary:
- Responsible for assisting in development and leading execution of
strategic, innovative, and integrated consumer & shopper promotions
tactics across multiple well-known consumer brands within Clorox.
- Collaboration with cross-functional counterparts as well as brand
teams to deliver the highest caliber, integrated marketing plans that
drive the business.
- Effectively manage promotions agency, creative teams, and vendor
partners to ensure consistent, efficient, and high value-added programs
and execute them with excellence.
- Budge management responsibility for programs as well as assigned
brands/businesses.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and opportunities; maintain
relationships with peers/vendors to provide insight on industry
advancements.
Major Responsibilities:
- Execution of consumer and shopper tactics/initiatives for designated
Strategic Business Units (SBU's). Assist on those with med/high
complexity; drive those with med/low complexity.
- Assist in development and recommendation of consumer and shopper
promotions strategic and tactical plans; lead in the management and
execution of the plans, ensuring they are innovative, effective,
efficient and integrated plans in line with business objectives,
customer strategies & consumer/shopper insights.
- Deliver marketing innovation: Able to help create powerful strategic
or executional marketing ideas, build upon them & champion up and across
the organization.
- Conduct analysis of previous programs and marketplace conditions to
derive actionable learnings.
- Manage budgets for assigned programs and businesses
- Maintain a solid understanding of marketing objectives, strategies
and key consumer/shopper insights for assigned brands.
- Build true business partnerships by working directly with internal
and external stakeholders to deliver plans and ensure consistent high
value for the Company.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3 years relevant experience - consumer/brand marketing or marketing communications
- Agency experience or agency management strongly desired
- Proven track record of managing and executing winning marketing plans
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and adapt innovative ideas/trends to marketing tactics.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results and meet deadlines, despite heavy workload, changing priorities and minimal directions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking - ability to work well with numbers and analyze complex data
- Results orientation; follow through on projects and commitments with speed and efficiency
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
- Strong collaborator or cross-functional teams and excellent interpersonal skill.
